2021 Isang Yun Peace Foundation Board of Directors

Isang Yun Peace Foundation held Board Meeting in March 28, 2021 12:00 PM, settled 2020, and approved project plans (budget).

6 out of 9 directors attended the Board Meeting and Chairman Gehryeun Shin said “Director Yongmin Lee and Jeong Yun could not attend the Board Meeting for the music festival held in Tongyeong. Also, Monk Jiil called me and said he cannot attend the Board Meeting due to heavy rain in Jirisan Mountain.” In the Board Meeting, Director Hyeonwook Shin was newly appointed and said “I will try my best and work diligently as a director.” in the speech.

Also, Jinsun Im who newly got appointed as the administrative director was introduced in report. The attendants also approved settlement for 2020, discussed about the project plans for 2021, and discussed about the how and whether North Korea will be attending the Isang Yun Music Festival which the foundation has been working on.

There was also a discussion on holding a small concert or gathering for appreciating music of Isang Yun as the new project for 2021 or making an orchestra or choir in cooperation with local autonomous entities. The Board Meeting decided to promote Isang Yun Prize and Isang Yun Music Festival continuously in 2021. Also, the Board Meeting approved the total budget of KRW 597,256,349.
